Cake – Duff’s Cakemix
With help from the birthday girl herself, Los Angeles Casting Director Holland Weathers, we created a sweet and classy girls only brunch and bubbly birthday party!
This party was all about the signage. And it’s practically free to do! Print out some fun sayings and use frames you have around the house. I added some gold sticker polka dots and, bam, it looks fancy! Most of the frames are from Ikea.
We had Duff’s Cakemix in West Hollywood make us this cute and bubbly cake! I added a glitter letter topper for the birthday girl’s name!
Brunch is served!
Michaels sells glitter letters. I used a small hole punch and strung “coffee bar” to my wine barrel. =)
I believe it’s important to add personal touches to parties. In this case, the birthday girl LOVES her Starbucks, so of course I wanted to serve her and her guests Starbucks Coffee.
The photo booth set up was against a wall of vines with my vintage ladder and Ikea vintage-looking frame as a prop (that you will see I use in a lot of parties!) My “Photo Booth” frame has been used over and over as well! It is a Dollar Tree frame that I spray painted gold and added gold letter stickers. I can change out the color of paper in the frame to suit my party. A birthday banner was made from gold glitter letters and tassel garland from tissue paper.
Party favors were Krispy Kreme Donuts (birthday girl’s favorite!) boxed up in individual boxes found at Michaels and tied with ribbon. You can barely see in the photo, but I sprinkled edible gold glitter onto them! They were a hit!
