Table Setting
The inspo for my table was 2 things, a Buddha statue we’ve had for over a decade and this gorgeous Anthropologie dish towel that I used as decor. The dish towel is colorful with tropical leaves, fruits and parrots and I’m so sad it’s no longer for sale! My centerpiece was dried eucalyptus, colorful candle sticks and the Buddha statue. Spray painted palms became the runner and deep green napkins pulled the tropical leaves. Hibiscus glassware honed in on the tropical setting. Gold flatware and gold candlestick holders accented the glassware.
Patio
We added a few things to our patio this season and it has made it finally feel filled out and relaxing! We got some bougainvilleas which I hope will grow up through our pergola. They always make me happy with their beautiful vibrant pink flowers! We also have a palm tree and bird of paradise plant. Our palm print rug from World Market gave a tropical feel! The large sectional we ordered in navy blue, as opposed to beige which I originally wanted, as we thought dirt marks and stains may be less visible. But I ended up loving the navy blue color! to give some ambiance, we hung strands of lights and beige curtains to block some sun. Rounding out the patio decor were a small white moroccan side table and a gold moroccan hanging lantern. Hope this inspires you to create a colorful, tropical outdoor space this summer!
