Football season is here! Since we are in Los Angeles, some games start at 10am. So I set up a super simple brunch for the game this past weekend. My favorite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers, as I’m from Pittsburgh. My husbands’ favorite team is the Baltimore Ravens. Rivals! Sometimes there’s a lot of trash talk in our house. LOL. We also have a door mat that says “A House Divided” and half the mat is the Steelers and the other half is the Ravens. =) Once that game is on, we will have a full on rivals party! But this weekend, we just relaxed and watched the Chiefs game. So I made a simple party craft and set out some food.

To make my easy DIY Goal Post, I just hot glued black and white striped straws together to make a goal post form. If you’re looking for the rugby straws, you can find them on Etsy! I free hand cut some mini banner pennants and used letter stickers for “Game Day” that I had in my craft closet. I stuck it into my Galvanized Metal Vase that I put styrofoam in and topped with green crinkle I had on hand. Perfect spot for displaying mini bagels! I also made bacon and eggs that did not make photos. But it rounded out a great brunch! The football cups and Sunday Funday plates came from the Dollar spot at Target. Napkins were from Party City last year.
Has anyone tried this Starbucks Cold Brew? I’m loving the Cocoa & Honey with cream! They are really good! Gotta have coffee at brunch! What are some of your game day must haves?!
