It all started with a plaid throw from the Target Dollar Spot! Haha! I saw this pretty plaid and thought how nice it would be as a Fall table throw, grabbed my picnic basket and created a DIY Pretzel stand. =) It’s hard to really get “Fall-ified” in SoCal right now with 85-90 degree days and plenty of sun. Sounds like a dream to most, but how can you not long for sweater weather and chilly evenings?! Well I’ve got a picnic style lunch idea for you and some friends to get your Fall started!

If I think of an outdoor Fall lunch, I think of plaid, sunflowers and a picnic basket. The other 2 things that felt “Fall” to me were playing scrabble. And with October right around the corner, I thought of Oktoberfest and eating some soft pretzels (along with cheese dip!) My picnic basket was full of baguette sandwiches, brown bag of chips, fruit and sparkling apple cider! I already had mustard colored napkins that went with the plaid throw. Using scrabble letters as name cards is fun and playful. My favorite thing was creating this DIY Pretzel Bar! See the tutorial HERE. How will you be entertaining this Fall?!
