This adorable sprinkle shower was given by myself and my good friend Caitlin of Cafe Everyday Sunday to our friends Jamie and Brad for their second boy 4 years ago! Time flies! We went with a Lil Man Ties and Mustaches theme and all of the brunch staples. For decor, we strung onsies and paper neck ties and bow ties on string between 2 vintage wooden ladders.
Jumping right into the food, we had breakfast fruit skewers! Fresh fruit with donut holes is so easy and is always a crowd pleaser!
Speaking of easy, let’s talk about donut pops! We added a mustache to the donut hole on a lollipop stick – that’s it! Everyone raved about how cute they were! Here is something I do for almost every party – stick a cake pop, lollipop, donut pop, cotton candy pop, flower fruit skewers – anything on a stick – into a piece of styrofoam. Dress it up by wrapping the styrofoam in tissue paper or wrapping paper that matches your theme. You can even add ribbon or other decorations.
Caitlin is a wonderful baker and she made most of the food! Banana bread, french toast casserole, 2 different quiches and the fruit skewers. Check out all of her treats at www.cafeeverydaysunday.com!
For the tables, we went with navy tablecloths and green accents. We made green paper napkins into bow ties and had mustache name cards for seating. For the glasses, we wrapped ribbon around mason jars and added a burlap bow tie, and glued paper mustaches to the straws. I just wish we had more photos! Now I have baby fever and need to plan another shower! Ha! Thanks for stopping by to check out our Lil Man Sprinkle Shower!
