Even on Mother’s Day I can’t hide from “Mom! Mom! Mom! Mom!”. At least I get donuts and unlimited mimosas. =) I’m going to show you how a roll of wrapping paper can make a whole party! Happy Mother’s Day!
I found a roll of beautiful floral wrapping paper at Target last year and that became the theme of my DIY Mother’s Day Breakfast. So easy, even Dad can set this party! You can find a similar roll of wrapping here. To start, I cut a piece of the wrapping paper to line the bottom of my clear acrylic tray, also from Target. That held the champagne, glasses and OJ for mimosas! I framed the wrapping paper in my oval vintage looking Ikea frame to add a pop of color. I use this frame at like 60% of my parties in some way, shape or form! Lastly, I used the wrapping paper as a table runner. It gave a dark table a great pop! I love using things in unexpected ways! I made my “mom” banner with card stock and sticker letters.
Add flowers and tuck napkins under the plate, and you are set! Make sure Mom has coffee too! I hope all of the moms out there have a wonderful Mother’s Day!
