Every time I come home to Pittsburgh to visit family and friends, my bestie Taressa and I try to put together a mini party for our kids! My daughter and her 3 children are the best of friends and since they only see each other once or twice a year, we love putting together a mini party for them to make their time together extra special. This time around we went for a silvery winter wonderland with light pinks and blues, and this party can be great for any winter birthday as well!

Treat Table
Starting with our treats, I made a donut tree with a styrofoam cone. It’s faster and easier to execute than expected! Just wrap the cone with plastic wrap, then use toothpicks to secure the donuts. Taressa finished it off with greenery and a snowflake cut out topper. Years ago for my daughter’s Frozen themed birthday, I had found cardboard snowflake shapes from Oriental Trading. I can not find the exact ones on their site, but these are similar! We used them throughout this set up. As well as embellishing the snowflakes with these jewel snowflakes.
I ordered beautiful cupcakes from Debbie Kopay, and we added rosemary “trees” and doused with powdered sugar to give it the snowy look. Custom snowflake cookies were from Caitlin at Cafe Everyday Sunday. They were also used as party favors!
Last of our treats were “hot chocolate” pudding shooters. They turned out so cute! Anyone can put these together. Add a cookie “straw” and they will be the hit of your party!
Backdrop
For the backdrop, we hung a fringe backdrop and added snowflake lights.
I made rosette snowflake wands for decor!
Tablescape
For our table, we used a silver sequin runner, silver chargers and clear glass plates. A snowflake was set under the plate and placed on each drinking glass for added decor. Forks were white and blush by Sophistiplate. Always check out The Dollar Tree for chargers before buying anywhere else! They usually have gold and silver.
Favor bags are from Shop Sweet Lulu, and embellished with jewel snowflakes and cookies by Cafe Everyday Sunday. We hope you enjoyed out little winter soiree! Who else loves to celebrate small get togethers?!
